The IT Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of technology
projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The role requires a strong
focus on high-quality delivery, proactive risk management, and excellent communication with all
stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery And Timeliness
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets using appropriate project
management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain
project momentum and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of multiple
projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and final deliverables to the required quality
standards.
Quality Management
- Define and enforce quality standards and metrics for all project deliverables.
- Implement quality assurance processes, including testing and validation, to ensure the final product meets functional and performance requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions with the project team and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk And Issue Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and prioritize potential project risks and issues.
- Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans to minimize the impact of risks on project delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving roadblocks and escalating issues to senior management when necessary.
- Track and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, senior leadership, business units, and
external partners.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are managed and met.
- Provide clear, concise, and regular status reports and updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate regular meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project
goals.
Leadership And Team Coordination
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Define roles and responsibilities and manage task assignments for team members.
- Coach and mentor team members, helping to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles.
ITSM Advantage
- Prior experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) technologies and processes is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with ITSM toolsets (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) and best practices (e.g., ITIL framework).
- Experience overseeing projects that involve service desk setup, process automation, or other IT service delivery enhancements.
